Parking: NOLA & SATX

When you park your car in New Orleans, you pull it up halfway onto the curb and sidewalk to prevent it from being hit by another driver. In San Antonio, if you park in the no-parking zone in front of our small apartment complex, the guy down the street will stand with his arms crossed and his face contorted into a self-satisfied frown on his front lawn staked with Trump/Pence signs while they tow your vehicle. He’d probably torch your car if you parked on the sidewalk.
